Terms of Use

Last updated 14 October 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Mirrorwell, including the website, web app and any mobile or desktop versions (together, "Mirrorwell" or the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using Mirrorwell, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Mirrorwell is provided by MentorsPro LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, United States ("MentorsPro", "we", "us", "our"). Mirrorwell is built on the reflective practice approach developed by Daniela Aneva. You can contact us at info@mentorspro.co. For enquiries from Europe, you can also write to info@danielaaneva.com.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mirrorwell. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you give us is accurate.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at info@mentorspro.co if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. What Mirrorwell is, and what it is not

Mirrorwell is an artificial intelligence (AI) reflection tool. It helps professional coaches, coaching supervisors, mentors, therapists and other helping professionals, their clients, and individuals to reflect on their experiences, practice and personal growth.

4. Not for emergencies

Mirrorwell is not a crisis or emergency service and is not monitored by people in real time. If you or anyone else is in danger, or you are thinking about harming yourself or others, contact emergency services immediately (in the United States call 911, or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline; elsewhere call your local emergency number).

5. Your responsibilities

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

7. Subscriptions, free trials and payment

8. Client and organisation access

A professional may invite their own clients to use Mirrorwell, and an organisation may provide access to its members. Clients and members must accept these Terms themselves. A client's or member's access may end if the inviting professional's subscription or the organisation's licence ends. Organisation administrators only see anonymised, aggregated information, as described in our Privacy Policy, and never individual reflections.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create in Mirrorwell, such as your messages, drawings, writing, journal entries and records ("Your Content"). You give us a limited, worldwide licence to host, store, process and display Your Content only to provide, secure and support the Service for you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. You can delete Your Content and your account at any time.

10. Our intellectual property

Mirrorwell, the MIRRORWELL name and logo, the software, design, prompts, reflection cards and other materials, and the methods and published works of Daniela Aneva on which Mirrorwell draws, are owned by or licensed to MentorsPro LLC and Daniela Aneva and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Mirrorwell for its intended purpose while your account is active. No other rights are granted.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MIRRORWELL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, APPROPRIATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MENTORSPRO LLC, DANIELA ANEVA, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS AND AFFILIATES (THE "MIRRORWELL PARTIES") WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, CLIENTS, DATA, GOODWILL OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO MIRRORWELL OR THESE TERMS, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE MIRRORWELL PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DECISION, ACTION OR OMISSION BY YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON BASED ON AI OUTPUT OR OTHER CONTENT IN MIRRORWELL, INCLUDING DECISIONS ABOUT YOUR CLIENTS, YOUR PRACTICE, YOUR HEALTH OR YOUR WELLBEING.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE MIRRORWELL PARTIES FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO MIRRORWELL IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR MIRRORWELL IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer or a data subject.

13. Release

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release the Mirrorwell Parties from all claims, demands and damages, known or unknown, arising out of or connected with your use of AI output from Mirrorwell and the professional and personal decisions you make. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code section 1542, which says: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party." This section does not apply to liability that cannot be released by law.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Mirrorwell Parties from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) Your Content, including any personal data about others you enter, (c) your professional services to your own clients, or (d) your misuse of Mirrorwell.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Mirrorwell and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 9 to 18) will survive.

16. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update Mirrorwell and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will tell you in the app or by email and ask you to accept them again. If you do not agree, you may stop using Mirrorwell and cancel your subscription.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the next sentence, the state and federal courts located in Bergen County, New Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in the EU, EEA or UK, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts.

18. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about Mirrorwell. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours in connection with a reorganisation, merger or sale.
